On the afternoon of December 18th, all Year 12 students were awarded “Leadership Tie” by principals, which encouraged them to achieve outstanding results in the coming year.
“为12年级的学生颁发领导者领带”是黑利伯瑞学校的传统。黑色缎面、彩色校徽、金色的“Year 12”字样，象征着独属于黑利伯瑞12年级学生的荣誉，值得每一名学生珍藏。
Haileybury has a well-established tradition of awarding Year 12 students “ Leadership Tie” which is made by black satin with school badge and “Year 12” characters on it. Each Year 12 student treasured this special honor.
将“领导者领带”佩戴在胸前，意味着他们是黑利伯瑞学生当中的领军人物，能够在学习和生活的方方面面起带头作用，引领其他年级的学弟、学妹共同进步。这是一份荣誉，更是一份责任。
Wearing “Leadership Tie”, Year 12 students become the role models who guide junior students to make progress in study and life. They are offered great honor whilst taking more responsibilities in Haileybury.
与此同时，“领导者领带”也是其他同学努力的目标。学校希望大家都能够以12年级的学生为榜样，用心学习，全面发展，以及在未来都能够佩戴着黑利伯瑞“领导者领带”，如愿以偿地考入世界名校。
“Leadership Tie” inspires all Haileybury students to work hard and fully develop their capabilities. They wish they could enter into top universities wearing Haileybury “Leadership Tie” in the future.
