Brief introduction:
Haileybury is Australia’s largest elite school with over 3,500 students on three campuses in the city of Melbourne. Over its 120 year history, Haileybury has provide Australia with some of its most famous leaders in the fields of government, the professions, science and technology. Every year, 80% of its students enter top 100 universities.
Haileybury International School is its first overseas branch, bringing western pedagogy and culture to China. The Principal, Dr Nicholas Dwyer, and key staff are appointed from amongst Haileybury’s Melbourne staff. Key elements of the Haileybury program are delivered in China.

Introduction to the Primary School:
Our Primary School integrates Haileybury’s Australian Primary School experience with China’s basic education. It provides a full education to children from 6 to 11 years old. At its core, the School instills a love of knowledge and develops children's ability to understand, research and solve problems. Australian teachers are very active around the classroom, engaging with each child as an individual and guiding them through the learning processThey form a strong personal link with each child and work to develop that child’s potential. Communication is continuous and students are helped to develop a sense of achievement, confidence in their abilities and a positive approach to learning that transcends the classroom

课程：

Course:
The Primary Course includes the basic Chinese Primary curriculum: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Society, Science, Art, and P.E. In addition, there is a wide range of school-based courses for pupils at the appropriate age: piano, computer, swimming, golf, tennis, basketball, dance, painting and photography, etc. In addition, Primary Department provides special interest development courses and various clubs. It strongly assists the development of students’ character and personality .

报名：
小学部面向全国招收学生。寄宿设施齐备。不论你来自何方，只要你是健康的，我们都欢迎你。
Enrolment:
The Primary School is currently enrolling pupils of Grade 1 to Grade 3 (from 5 to 10 years old) throughout China. Boarding facilities are available. No matter where are you from, as long as you are fit and healthy, we will welcome you.

入学程序
1、完整的申请表(可以从招生办公室领取或从我们的网站下载);
2、支付申请费用2000元(不可退款);
3、安排一次入学考试在学校;
入学的基础上进行入学面试
Entrance Procedure
1. Complete an Application Form (available from the Admissions Office or downloaded from the our website);
2. Pay the Application Fee of 2000 RMB (non-refundable);
3. Arrange an Entrance Test at the School;
Admission is on the basis of performance in the Entrance Test
